Swedesboro “Lights it Up Blue” in support of Autism Awareness

A message from Mayor Tom Fromm

“I am reaching out to all of the Swedesboro Businesses and asking them if they would agree to help us support the “Light It Up Blue” Autism Awareness program this year.I have included a link to the Fact Sheet for the program – and here is the overall website. And finally, I received an e-mail from Coleman that they are offering these Blue Lanterns in support of Autism Awareness. What we would be asking the businesses to do is simply to change out their outdoor bulbs with Blue ones on April 2nd – or even better any spotlights they may have for their outdoor signs, etc.

We also encourage residents to consider switching to Blue Lights at their houses too.  True Value has stepped up and added a supply of Blue Light bulbs in support of the cause.

The Borough is going to install temporary blue lighting and banners on Kings Highway and also hopefully put filters on the lighting at Borough Hall and the Library. We will keep the town Blue for the month of April and it would be cool if the businesses did too.”
