Annual Swedesboro Christmas Parade & Tree Lighting

The Annual Christmas Parade & Tree Lighting will be held Saturday, November 25th, Starting at 1 PM.

Every year on the Saturday after Thanksgiving, head downtown in Swedesboro to enjoy a day full of events meant to kick off the Holiday Season!  The Greater Swedesboro Business AssociatIon sponsored parade begins at 1pm and will feature a variety of floats, community groups and performing groups.

Christmas Parade | Kings Highway | 1 PM

Kings Highway will be alive with Christmas cheer as Swedesboro celebrates the start of the holiday season with its annual Christmas Parade.

Santa & floats with community groups.  Be on the lookout for Whopon coupon booklets full of deals to many Swedesboro and Woolwich businesses being handed out during the parade!

The parade will take place on Kings Highway at Walter Hill School and will continue all the way through the downtown where it will end at Church Street

Christmas Tree Lighting | Borough Hall | 6:30 PM

Community Caroling

Join us for the annual Christmas tree lighting and caroling at the Swedesboro Borough Hall, that evening at 6:30 pm.  Refreshments will follow.  This event is sponsored by the Swedesboro-Woolwich Historical Society.

Detour and road closure info

At 12:30 kings hwy will be blocked off at church st by parish house . People will be able to go down church until lead police car gets closer to red hen & then radios to shut down at glen echo
Franklin & lake will be open to auburn periodically throughout the parade.

Early closures:
11:30: Bridgeport Ave.& Mayhew Ave .
Turner at west Ave. will be one way out to auburn
No access to Bridgeport & west from auburn

Back & side parking lot of Walter hill is reserved for floats & bands only
Parking or drop offs for parents /children will be on side streets or in front of Walter hill prior to 12:30
The parade has a rain date for the following weekend Saturday December 3rd.
