Tucked among the charming buildings along on Kings Highway, the John C. Rulon House is a familiar piece of local history.  Built in 1881 by its original owner, this iconic Victorian treasure evokes an almost Secret Garden atmosphere with its wrought iron fence and flora-filled front yard.  However, aside from its intriguing historic roots, this special piece of architecture is also home to a beautiful photography studio.

First launched in 2009, Image is Everything Studios is the creation of photographers Stacy Cortese and Desiree Miller.  Wanting to give clients a boutique-style alternative to the generic and often chaotic retail chain photo session, the two designed a custom portraiture business designed to offer a personalized portrait experience.

Image is Everything Studios specializes in maternity, newborn, and children’s portraiture, offering sessions at both the studio and on location.  The studio also offers family sessions, including beach portraits taken on the sand, available during the summer season.  Clients have the option to customize their portrait sessions with a variety of hand selected props, backdrops, and accessories, as well as outfits for the younger set.  Some of the custom accessories and clothing are even available for purchase via the studio boutique.

The studio offers a full service, non-rushed approach to photography, allowing clients to view and purchase products in the privacy of a cozy viewing room.  Portrait sessions are relaxed and fun, with an emphasis on client comfort.  For clients seeking something a little spicier, the studio also offers boudoir sessions through its “OMG Boudoir” label, particularly popular with newlyweds.
