Borough of Swedesboro Environmental Resource Inventory

In 2013, the Swedesboro Commission joined with the Woolwich Township Environmental Commission to form the Swedesboro/Woolwich Joint Environmental Commission. The joint commission was established to better protect the development and/or use of natural resources including water sources, located within the territorial limits of the Borough of Swedesboro and Woolwich Township.

Five members and One alternate from each municipality are appointed for a up to a three year term by Mayor of each municipality. A Council/Committee representative is appointed yearly (End of Term is noted). Meetings are held at 7:00 pm on 2nd Thursday of the month in either the Swedesboro or Woolwich Municipal buildings (alternating months)

Any Swedesboro resident wishing to serve on Joint Environmental Commission is required to complete a citizen volunteer application.
