Economic Development Committee

 

The Committee  was established in order to advertise the advantages of the Borough of Swedesboro, to analyze the economic potential and development in the Borough of Swedesboro and to mobilize and assist in the development of potential resource and economic conditions of the borough. The committee seeks to create a positive push towards more economic opportunities, to revitalize the downtown district through streetscape, and to promote more pedestrian traffic in town. The committee seeks to ensure that the town maintains a focus on the smaller shops and work towards a pedestrian friendly downtown area.

Seven member committee appointed by the Mayor to a four year term. Council representative appointed yearly (End of term is noted).

Meetings are scheduled for the 3rd Thursday of the month, 7:00 pm. at Borough Hall
