Attention High School Seniors!

New Jersey Heroes, a non-profit foundation started by First Lady Mary Pat Christie, is offering a $5,000 scholarship for NJ seniors in high school to use towards their post-secondary education. The Spirit of a Hero Scholarship is for students who demonstrate a commitment to volunteerism and community contribution, in the spirit of New Jersey Heroes. New Jersey Heroes recognizes and celebrates the inspiring work that is done by individuals and non-profit organizations across the Garden State to improve their communities and the lives of New Jersey residents.

High School Seniors can apply directly on the NJ Heroes website http://newjerseyheroes.org/index/2015-spirit-of-a-hero-scholarship-application-form/ or send in the application via US mail. March 2nd – March 31s.
Monday – Friday 8:30 am – 3:00 pm
& Saturday, March 21st 8:00 AM – noon

There is NO CHARGE to drop off your tires
Participation is limited to Gloucester County Residents ONLY
Commercial Businesses are NOT PERMITTED

Nothing over passenger pick-up truck tire size will be accepted.
Tires may be on or off the rim, but must be separated by type.
Residents who need directions or have more than 25 tires please contact:

Pizza Madness Tournament

Free Rabies Clinic

For the convenience of our Residents, the Borough of Swedesboro and Woolwich Township will be hosting a Free Rabies Clinic on Saturday, March 21st from 1-3pm at the Woolwich Fire House on Kings Hwy.

Borough Hall will be open during 1-3pm on Saturday so Dog and Cat Licenses can be purchased after the Rabies Clinic.

Licensing Fees:
$12.00 per spayed/neutered dog
$15.00 per unspayed/neutered dog
$7.00 per cat

A $10.00 late fee will be added starting April 1st 2015

Please note that rabies vaccinations must not expire before October 31st, 2015 in order to obtain a license.
