************LEAF PICK UP REMINDER**********

RESIDENTS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR COLLECTING AND BAGGING LEAVES ON THEIR PROPERTY INCLUDING THE STREET.

YARD WASTE AND LEAVES MAY BE DISPOSED OF IN A REGULAR TRASH CONTAINER (NOT THE BOROUGH CONTAINERS) NOT WEIGHING MORE THAN 50 POUNDS OR IN LARGE PAPER LEAF BAGS/BIODEGRADABLE DISPOSABLE BAGS.

PICK UP DATES FOR THE REMAINDER OF OCTOBER AND NOVEMBER ARE EVERY THURSDAY DURING REGULAR TRASH PICK UP. FOR THE MONTH OF DECEMBER PICK UP WILL BE ON 12/6 AND 12/13/18.

8:00 AM to 2:00 PM

We will be flushing the drinking water system during the above dates and times.  During this process, discolored water is possible.  Please check the water before use.  If discolored, run water until clear.  We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Swedesboro welcomes new dance studio

Swedesboro officials were on hand Saturday September 29th to celebrate the ribbon cutting ceremony and welcome passMore Dance Co. to their new Swedesboro location at 1526 Kings Highway.

passMore Dance Co. bills itself as a company of passionate teachers and performers proud to offer high quality classes in ballet, tap, hip hop, contemporary, jazz, acro and musical theatre.  They have a strong combination classes of ballet, tap, creative movement and jazz.  They also have adult classes and private lessons in any genre!

passMore Dance Co. fields recreational, competitive and elite competition teams for those students who choose to compete. They offer birthday parties and Parents’ Night Out programs as well as mobile dance instruction for area preschools. They are proud of our history of giving back to the community with our community and benefit performances.

Lake Park ‘Pop Up’ Cleanup Oct. 13 and 14

The Swedesboro-Woolwich Township Environmental Commission welcomes all volunteers out to Swedesboro Lake Park this weekend to help keep the Lake Park beautiful with a ‘Pop-Up’ Clean up event on Saturday 10/13 and Sunday 10/14 from 10-3.

Groups, families and individuals are all welcome to participate in this fun volunteer event with free food, drinks and giveaways. Credit for service hours will be given as applicable.

Volunteers are asked to RSVP to cgmkehoe@gmail.com and dress appropriately with old clothes and old shoes they don’t mind getting dirty.
