Swedesboro to ‘Light it up Blue’ for Autism Awareness

Swedesboro Residents:

I would like to ask you to help us to Light it Up Blue in Swedesboro to show our community’s support for Autism Awareness Month that starts on April 2nd.  We do this each year to show our support for those in our community who are affected by Autism, and in reality that is almost all of us.  Our goal is also to increase awareness of Autism and especially how early detection and treatment can have a tremendous impact on our children.

I have asked all of our businesses to swap out a couple of their outdoor lights with blue bulbs until April 30th and I would also like to ask everyone in town if they can do the same.  True Value will have blue bulbs available for this effort so please check with them if you need blue bulbs.

The town will be doing our part once again by lighting up our streetlights and buildings with Blue Lights.  This is the type of thing that makes Swedesboro such a great community to live, work and operate a business.  I really hope that we can make this year the best one yet so please join us as we

Light it Up Blue in Swedesboro.

Please feel free to share this message with anyone in Swedesboro who you think will participate in this effort – businesses or residents.

If you want more information about  Autism Awareness Month please check out this website – https://www.autismspeaks.org/liub

Thank you for all you do for Swedesboro.
