Due to the Thanksgiving Holiday, Trash, Recycling and Vegetative Waste will be collected on FRIDAY NOVEMBER 27th. Place your carts at the curb on Thursday after 5pm for Friday pick up.

Changes are Coming to Vegetative Waste Pick Up in 2021
Beginning in 2021, Vegetative/Yard Waste will be picked up using an automated truck. Ninety-six (96) gallon green vegetative waste carts will be delivered to residences in the Borough beginning on December 7th. Businesses will not receive a green cart. If you do not wish to have a cart delivered to your residence, please contact Borough Hall at 856-467-0202. Vegetative Waste will ONLY be picked up from the carts. The truck will only have a driver with no additional assistance to load materials into the truck. The green carts will be for VEGETATIVE WASTE only.
Christmas Tree pick up is scheduled for January 7th and 14th. Christmas trees will be picked up by hand and will not be required to be in the green cart.
2021Trash, Recycling and Yard Waste Collection Schedule

Beginning in January 2021, Vegetative/Yard Waste will picked up by an automated trash truck. The Borough has arranged to have 1(one) 96 Gallon Vegetative Waste Cart delivered to each residence.
The only way for your Vegetative/Yard Waste to be picked up will be to place it in the green cart.
If you DO NOT WISH to have a cart delivered to you, please contact Borough Hall at 856-467-0202 no later than Monday November 23rd.

Living Proof Recovery Center at RCSJ
Living Proof Recovery Centers are excited to announce that we’ve expanded our services to two convenient South Jersey locations! Earlier this month we began offering a second location at Rowan College of South Jersey. Living Proof Recovery Centers are peer-led, volunteer driven, and designed for people considering, entering, or already in recovery. At Living Proof Recovery Centers, we compassionately work with individuals to find their personal path to a life of recovery and offer a community that supports sustained recovery.
With this location, more individuals across South Jersey have access to life-changing and life-saving services. We will continue to provide a variety of high-quality programming at Living Proof Recovery Center – RCSJ including:
- Assistance with accessing available resources
- Assistance in referrals to treatment
- Development of a recovery plan
- Wellness classes & support groups
- Peer mentoring & coaching
- Educational assistance
This new location is open to all residents of New Jersey, and you do not need to be a student of Rowan College of South Jersey to utilize services and activities. All services and workshops are free. Visit the link below to view our current virtual activities.
